The One Rule Game for All the Family
Maureen Hiron
|
Continuo is one of those deceptively simple games. Any typical 5-year-old can play it; it only has one rule and a wide range of ages can play and enjoy it together; it fits in a small box and can be played anywhere you can find a flat surface and it is gloriously fun. What more could you want from a game? Not much, in my mind. Listed as one of MENSA's best games of 1995, Continuo is as challenging as you want to make it. Basically, it is a game of visual discrimination where you are seeking to place multicolored cards in such a way that they create patterns that yield the most points. The ability to see the various visual patterns is the trick.
