Here's a new page-turner for you! When it comes to writers, Debra Ginsberg couldn't get any higher on my author pedestal. I'm not sure who wouldn't enjoy her latest novel. It's a very cleverly written psychological thriller-mystery-love story-comedy all in one. In this ultimate ''boss from hell'' story, protagonist Angel Robinson is beyond excited to land a job at the prestigious Lucy Fiamma Literary Agency. Lucy Fiamma, however, makes Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada look like Good Witch Glinda. Despite her nightmarish job, Angel proves herself to be very valuable to Lucy as she has a knack for choosing authors whose work will sell. One day, a well-written anonymous submission arrives in the office, and as further installments arrive via email, Angel begins to see parallels between the storyline and her own life. Even more alarming are the threats that begin emerging in the story. Who could the mystery author be? A jealous co-worker? Her wannabe writer boyfriend? A disgruntled author Angel had rejected? You'll feel compelled to put life on hold until you find out how the story ends!
