Take one 5-year-old boy, Michael, and his father, who has gamely undertaken creating a nightly bedtime story for his inventive young son. The ritual is that Michael gets to orchestrate much of what transpires in the story and Dad fleshes it out into a full-fledged tall tale. Fine and dandy, except that Michael insists that one Waldo the wolf and one Rainbow the hen be included in every single installment of these stories, which soon spread to daytime as well. So, what used to be a bedtime ritual becomes an anytime-he-can-get-his-dad-to-squeeze-in-an-episode arrangement. And as the delightfully absurd story unfolds (and unfolds even more!), we can't help smiling while witnessing the eternal battle between good and evil as orchestrated by a five-year-old boy.
