Sid lives on Aristotle Street. In fact, he lives at number one Aristotle Street, number two, three, four, five and six Aristotle Street. Each homeowner thinks Sid is their cat, so, in each place, Sid's got his own special bed, his own favorite food and a unique personality. In one place he's full of mischief; in another, he's the watchcat; in another, he's all sweetness and light. Six different times a day, he appears at the houses on Aristotle Street and assumes six different identities. We've got a scam going here! The whistle eventually gets blown, and the neighbors agree to join forces and feed Sid only one dinner. So he's off to Pythagoras Place, where the pickin's might be better once again. Delicate yet colorful pastels comprise the illustrations on each page, and the text is brief. Sid's facial expressions are not to be missed!
